If Anska becomes your follower, you must protect her as you traverse the ruins.Д®ither way, enter the next room and kill the Draugrs inside. You can ask her to follow you or have her wait here. Agree to help Anska retrieve a family scroll from the tomb of Dragon Priest Vokun to start the quest. When you enter the ruins, a fire mage named Anska will be there. To get this quest, travel to HIGH GATE RUINS, which is east of Dawnstar and just north of Ustengrav. Your hard work is rewarded with a special tome and a permanent Active Effect called SINDERIONвЂ™S SERENDIPITY, which gives you a 25% chance of creating a duplicate potion while using your Alchemy skill. Tell her you found Sinderion and offer her the Crimson Nirnroots. Talk to Avrusa during the day when sheвЂ™s tending to her garden to learn that she was once a student of SinderionвЂ™s. To reach the farm, head east from Ivarstead.

Once youвЂ™ve collected 30 Crimson Nirnroots, your journal tells you to bring them to Avrusa Sarethi, the owner of SARETHI FARM. There are throngs of tough enemies down here вЂ“ if any of them give you trouble, leave Blackreach and return after leveling up a bit. Given how enormous Blackreach is, expect to spend a great deal of time foraging while paying close attention to your surroundings. Like regular nirnroots, the Crimson version emits a chime sound and glows. When ready, leave SinderionвЂ™s Field Lab and gather the remaining Crimson Nirnroots. Along with a wide array of ingredients, youвЂ™ll find two chests and the Alchemy SKILLBOOK, вЂњDe Rerum DirennisвЂќ. Start by taking one off of SinderionвЂ™s worktable then explore the lab for other goodies. The rare plant only grows in Blackreach so youвЂ™ll have to scour the landscape to find them. Your current objective is to collect thirty CRIMSON NIRNROOTS. Reading SinderionвЂ™s Journal triggers the quest вЂњA Return to Your RootsвЂќ. Inside, youвЂ™ll find the alchemistвЂ™s body along with his journal. Once inside Blackreach, make your way down to SinderionвЂ™s Field Laboratory in the northeast corner. Refer to the Daedric quest вЂњDiscerning the TransmudaneвЂќ or the main quest, вЂњElder KnowledgeвЂќ to learn what needs to be done to access the vast underground city. To get this quest, you need access to BLACKREACH. The list below is sorted alphabetically by the name of the Side Quest: Finding a key item or entering a particular dungeon triggers some Side Quests, but most are initiated by talking to people in cities and towns. Though they require more time and effort to complete, greater rewards are usually earned. Side Quests appear in your journal as titled events.
